Audiometry
The main hearing test used to identify hearing threshold levels of an individual, enabling determination of the degree, type and configuration of a hearing loss and thus providing a basis for diagnosis and management for individuals with hearing loss.

Speech audiometry
Used to measure the ability of a patient to perceive speech signals. Speech materials (pre-recorded or read by examiner) are presented; the patient repeats the speech materials to determine how well it was perceived.

What is an OAE hearing test? The OAE test is used to find out how well your inner ear, or cochlea, works. It measures otoacoustic emissions, or OAEs. These are sounds given off by the inner ear when responding to a sound. There are hair cells in the inner ear that respond to sound by vibrating.

ElectroCochleoGraphy (ECoG) tests are objective assessments used in the diagnosis of Meniere's disease and other disorders. ECoG tests measure electrical potentials generated in the cochlea, a part of the inner ear, in response to audio stimulation.
